Six Questions Nonprofit Leaders Should Ask About AI

How can nonprofits put AI to work? Forvis Mazars shares six key questions to help leaders adopt AI strategically and responsibly.

What we're reading

Anthropic’s seven co-founders pledged to give at least 80 percent of their shares to charity. But now that the company is going public, likely later next month, that presents a problem. If they all sold their shares at once, the stock price could fall. In the group’s filing for its initial public offering that was made public on Monday, the company says that pledge is not legally binding. It also indicates that if the co-founders do choose to fulfill that pledge, they can do so through different types of giving vehicles, including donor-advised funds and foundations. The filing also revealed that the company spent $541 million matching charitable donations for its staff last year — 4 percent of its operating expenses. (Wall Street Journal)
